Owens accompanied a cute video of the two of them hugging it out inside the house with the phrase “visualizing the days until we make this house a home.”
Biles had said in the past that she and her partner were going to begin construction on a new house in the month of March.
She posted a series of photographs she had taken with Owens at the time with the phrase “A home is made with love and dreams.” The photographs were taken outside of the construction site. “Here’s to putting in the groundwork!”
After winning an unprecedented eighth U.S. championship at the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, where she took first place in the all-around competition, the couple decided to make some recent improvements to their property.
She is the only gymnast in the history of the United States to win eight all-around titles.
