The marriage of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick has reached the milestone of 35 years.
On Monday, the happy couple commemorated the anniversary of their wedding by posting endearing messages and pictures of themselves from the beginning of their relationship.
“It seems like 35 years has gone by in the blink of an eye. “#Anniversary,” Bacon wrote as part of his dedication to the recipient.
Rita Wilson left a comment on his endearing post, in which she wrote, “You people! Best wishes on your anniversary! Do you really think that? It goes by so quickly! We will be 36 years old very soon!”
In honor of the two people’s anniversary, Sedgwick further shared a photo from the year she first met Bacon.
She captioned the photo of her homage with the following: “It was 1987—on the set of ‘Lemon Sky’—I met a man named Kevin.” “Happy 35 years to you, my love.”
Bacon and Sedgwick have previously discussed their love story and the first time they met with People. Bacon described the first time they met as leaving him “knocked out.”
He stated to the publication, “I thought she was amazing,” but Sedgwick stated, “I remember thinking, ‘Oh, he thinks he’s really cool.'” But the next day, after their first date, she had the realization that he was the one for her. “I remember waking up and going, ‘I feel like home,'” she told People. “I feel like home.” “I suddenly realized, ‘Oh, that was him.'”
Bacon and Sedgwick tied the knot in September 1988, and since then, the couple has been blessed with two children: Travis Bacon, who is now 34 years old, and Sosie Bacon, who is 31 years old.
